Naya pulls him closer, readjusting them on the bed. Grant was too good of a kisser, knowing how to leave her breathless with each kiss. She tangles her hands into his hair, messing them a bit, but she didn’t care. She moans softly against his lips, unable to contain herself. Everything he did was turning her on. And god, that sound that came from his throat just now, it was so hot. Naya slips a hand up Grant’s shirt, feeling his heart beating. She smiles absentmindedly, but continues kissing him passionately. She couldn’t stop, he was like a magnet that always pulled her back. Naya plays with the bottom of his shirt, silently asking for permission.
Grant’s breathing is labored as he kisses her, his hands skimming up her sides slightly, flattening out. And then her hands are in his hair and she moans and he can’t help but let out a shaky sigh, pressure and heat building in his stomach, his head swimming. Suddenly it seems all that matters is getting any sound out of her that he can. Her hand slides over his stomach under his shirt and to his chest before bringing both of her hands to the hem of his shirt, toying with it. He takes it as a signal, kneeling back on his heels and pulling his shirt over his head and tossing it to his right on the floor, leaning back down and connecting their lips again. One of his hands rest on her jaw, returning the intensity of the kiss from before, while the other travels back down to her hip, curving comfortably.
Naya leans back onto the bed as Grant leans forward. When he pulls away, she catches her breath, their kissing leaving her breathless. He was such an amazing kisser, and it was getting addicting. She looks into Grant’s eyes and laughs softly at his question. Naya didn’t know where this was going, but she wasn’t about to stop it. “Movies schmovies.” she says playfully and pulls him in for another kiss, lightly tracing Grant’s lips with her tongue.
He went to let out another small laugh but he was interrupted as Naya pulled him back to her and their lips met again. He’s slightly caught off guard but he reacts quickly, his arms tightening around her back. She knows how to kiss, he thinks to himself, but doesn’t have time to question his own ability before he feels her tongue on his lips. He parts his lips a little further, deepening he kiss, feeling almost lightheaded. He leans forward farther, shifting his knees and hovering over her, his hands coming to rest on the side of her hips, gripping them lightly and letting out a small throaty sound, his lips moving desperately against hers.
Naya smiles and press her body closer against Grant’s. She loved the feeling she got the longer they kissed. It left her breathless, head spinning from forgetting to breathe. She moans softly as he bites down on her lip. Naya kisses more passionately and a bit rougher than before.
He almost shivers when she moans, the small sound echoing in his head. Without even realizing it he’s sighing into the kiss, leaning more forward so she almost needs to lean back. He feels the bed somewhat shift beneath him and his hands are still wrapped around the small of her back. He kisses her until he has to breathe and he pulls away, tilting his head down to kiss her jaw, his eyes still somewhat heavy-lidded. He kisses back down her jaw, humming quietly. He smiles and tilts his head back up, their foreheads almost touching. “So, movie?” He asks playfully, “Or I mean, we could do this all night. No protests here.” He grins a little wider, leaning in and pressing another quick kiss to her lips.
She bites down on her lips softly as Grant comes sits by her and nods at his request. Naya smiles and kisses him back, wrapping her arms around Grant’s neck. It was even better than she remembered. It wasn’t a dare, and there was no alcohol involved. Just the two of them. She absentmindedly runs a hand through his hair.
He kisses her somewhat slowly, his parted lips moving against hers. He feels her arms wrap around his neck and he moves a little closer to her still, his hands resting just behind her hips. He deepens the kiss slightly, his hands moving from her hips to the small of her back. He smiles into it, not being able to help it. It wasn’t because of a dare, and he wasn’t drinking and it was just the two of them. Her hand goes through his hair and he almost hums, biting a bit on her lip.
Naya smiles and holds Grant close all the way back to the hotel. They reach their hotel and head up to Grant’s room. He opens the door and they go inside. Naya immediately plops down on his bed with a smile. “You know, we haven’t kissed since the party..” she says with a smirk.
Grant walks down the hallway with her in comfortable silence. They get to his room and he opens it with his key, holding the door open for her once again. Naya walks into his room and heads straight for his bed, sitting on it with small thud. He closes the door, turning around and putting his key on a table kind of near the entryway. He walks over to where Naya’s sitting as the makes a comment about how they hadn’t kissed since the night of Dianna’s party.
"Oh really?" He asks, his voice somewhat teasing. He sits next to her, turning and meeting her eyes. He smiles himself and leans in a bit, getting closer to her. "Shall we fix that?" He muses lightly before leaning in and connecting their lips.
Naya smiles, “Nope, you’re not the lucky one. I am.” she whispers with a grin. She smiles all the way back on their walk. Hawaii was beautiful anytime, “Nope, anything is fine with me. Let me guess, no Rachel McAdams’ movies?” Naya asks with a soft laughs. A gust of wind picks up and she realizes she’s only wearing a dress so she shudders and gets closer to Grant.
He feels Naya shiver and pull tighter against him and he realized she was cold. It wasn’t like he really minded, and he relaxed his arm a little, letting her lean against him a little. He looked ahead and the hotel was getting closer, so they’d be there soon as it was. He laughed a little when she commented on Rachel McAdams’ movies. “I can’t help it, okay?” He teased, grinning. “I’m just a mess when it comes to her.” They crossed a small street and approached the hotel.
He opened the door and let her go in first, following after her. They walked to the elevator and he pressed the ‘up’ arrow, slightly leaning against the wall as he waited for the elevator to come. He shifted his weight from his left to his right foot and the elevator gave a ‘ding’ before opening. He stepped in with Naya and pressed the 6 button- their floor.
Naya smiles and nods, getting up. “I agree, let’s go.” she links her arms with Grant’s and they leave the restaurant, eyes trailing after them. She walks with him back to the hotel, enjoying the Hawaiian air. Naya leans her head on his shoulder with a smile. “This was such a great idea.” she tells him. “How did I get so lucky?” Naya says, looking up at him. Grant was… perfect. Everything a girl dreamed for and more. He never ceased to amaze her.
It still wasn’t cold out, but the air was cooler and crisp as they walked. Streetlights were on and even though it was darker, everything was still so pretty. He walked arm in arm with Naya for some time when she leans her head on his shoulder. He smiles reflexively and kisses the side of her head before looking back in front of them. “I’m the lucky one.” He mumbled, not even sure if she could hear him or not. They continued walking and he just enjoyed it.
They walked in comfortable silence, Grant smiling as they did so. He could see the hotel in the distance. He liked things as they were at that point, people walking by every now and then. “Any movie in particular you’d like to watch?” He mused, her head still leaning on his shoulder a bit.
“You’re welcome.” Naya says with a smile. She takes another sip of her water and they both finish eating quickly. She was nervous, stomach full of butterflies, but she still managed to have an appetite. Naya was the type of girl who loved eating. She didn’t understand why girls didn’t. She typically didn’t care if she lost her figure, all you needed to do was exercise regularly.
“So, off to the movies or back to the hotel. Movies with making out in the back in public? Or cuddling in private.” Naya says with a smirk, scrunching up her nose a bit. She wipes her mouth with her napkin, then takes another sip of her water.
He finished his pasta somewhat quickly, and Naya did as well. He wiped his mouth with his napkin, setting it down and drinking the rest of his water. The food was really good. Just as good and he had remembered from the last time he was there. He ran his hand through his hair and smiled as the waitress came back giving them the check and taking the plates. He thanked her again and she walked away and looked at the check, taking out his wallet.
He looked back over at Naya, smiling when she asked him if he wanted to go to a theater or back to the hotel. He’d rather be alone with her as it was, seeing as though some people in the restaurant had been looking at her the entire time they were there. He pulled some bills out from his wallet and put them on the table under the check, pinning them there.
"Let’s go back to the hotel. More private." He said, grinning. He had also seen some good movies on demand while he was flipping through channels hours before, so it didn’t seem like a huge sacrifice.
Naya nods in agreement, eating some of the pasta. It was delicious, “Dang boy, you know your food.” she says with a laugh. She eats more of the pasta, deciding that she really loved it and had to learn the recipe soon. Naya chews slowly then swallows, reaching for her glass to take a sip of water. She takes an extra napkin and wipes her mouth. Naya looks up at Grant and giggles when she sees a bit of sauce in the corner of his mouth. “Hey babe, come here.” she says, leaning forward and using a napkin to wipe it off. “There. Perfection once again.”
He eats more of his pasta, laughing slightly when Naya compliments his choice. “Why thank you,” He says after he’s swallowed the mouthful that he had. “I’m glad you like it.” He said, smiling. She looks up at him and starts giggling, and his eyebrows go together slightly as he tilts his head, wondering why. She picks up her napkin and leans in, bringing the napkin to his face. He understands what she’s doing as she’s wiping the sauce from his face and he grins.
"Thank you." He says, bringing his own napkin to his mouth out of reflex. He puts it down and drinks more of his water, it almost gone. He eats another fork of pasta, savoring how good it really is. He realized he was eating kind of quickly but he really didn’t completely mind. He hadn’t really eaten beforehand, his nerves messing with his appetite.
Naya thinks about it for a bit, “Favorite part of Hawaii? Most definitely the water or something.” She got to experience paddle boating, kayaking, scuba diving, and dolphin diving. She couldn’t wait to go out on more water adventures. “It’s just so calm and relaxing at one point, then crazy and wild in a few minutes. I am definitely a water sports fan now.” Naya smiles at him, “And also the fact that it brought us together. I love that part too.”
He smiled, happy she felt the same way. He was just about to say something to her when their waitress came back with their food. She set their plates down in front of both of them and asked them if there was anything else she could get for them. He shook his head no and thanked her before she walked away.
He picked up his fork and played with his pasta, mulling it over it’s self. He twisted a bit of it around his fork and brought it to his mouth, chewing and swallowing. He put his fork down and took a drink of his water, setting it down. “It’s also just really nice to not have to worry about anything out here. It’s relaxing and the change of scenery is refreshing in it’s own.” He ate a little bit more of the pasta, chewing and swallowing.
Naya had to admit, she was a jealous from the waitress flirting. She hands the menu to the waitress and she leaves. Naya blushes again when Grant winks. How did he do this to her?
“Well, either one is fine with me.” she says with a smile. “As long as I’m with you, I’ll be the happiest girl alive.” Naya realizes she said that aloud and covers her mouth quickly. “Forget I said that…” she mumbles, messing with her water glass.
He grins widely at her when she covers her mouth and mumbles and he almost blushes himself, taking a drink of his own water and looking over at her. “Well,” He says, setting the glass back down on the table in front of him. “I’m glad. And ditto.” He licks his lips and looks around the restaurant, his eyes not resting on anything in particular.
He turns back to Naya and takes another quick sip of his water, setting it back down quickly. “So,” He starts, raising an eyebrow and putting his elbows on the table. “Favorite part of Hawaii so far- go.” He says, smirking. “Mine’s probably being so close to the beach, you know? I love it.” His eyes light up. He loves the beach. A lot. Not even just the swimming component of it, he just loved the saltwater and the way the sun looked there when it rose and the big rocks you could sit on and just take in everything. “Also this.” He said, making eye contact with her. “Pretty content right now.”
Naya smiles widely, “A water also.” she tells the waitress who was shamelessly flirting with Grant. Naya didn’t mind though, it just tested Grant to see if he was loyal and faithful, which she sure he was. “Alright then, I’ll take your word on it and have that too.”
Naya continues taking in the scenery of the restaurant, but her eyes always went back to Grant. She blushes a bit when she realizes she’s been staring with her mouth parted, a little too long. She messes with her napkin in her lap, trying to busy herself. “So what movie are we watching after?”
He thanked the waitress and gave her their orders, handing her his menu and giving her a small, polite smile before turning back to Naya and giving her a genuine one. The waitress was being a little too friendly with him and he fought the urge to furrow his eyebrows at her a little. He shrugged a little and looked around again at the restaurant.
It was as nice as he remembered it and that made him happy. And he wasn’t lying about the food- it was delicious last time and he had good hopes it would be tonight. He looked back at Naya who was looking at him, her mouth open slightly. He catches her eyes and winks, and laughs a little when she realizes she was staring and blushes. He laughs again to himself when she looks down and then back up at him.
"Well, we can either go and see a movie, as there’s a movie theater within walking distance as well, or we can go back to my room and watch a movie on demand there. Either one is fine with me," He replies, smiling.
Naya laughs, “Seriously? You haven’t heard the word before? I am shocked.” then she blushes slightly, “Really? I guess, but there are people who are more wonderful than me.”
She was glad Grant was enjoying the time with her. Naya was afraid that she was too boring or something along the lines of that, “Im having a wonderful time with you as well.” she says with a smile.
Nays shakes her head in amusement when Grant opens the door for her. Guys never did that for her before. The hostess leads them to a secluded table in the restaurant and she looks around, it was beautifully decorated. Grant pulls out her chair for her and Naya sits down. She looks at the menu, she could feel every pair of eyes on them from those in the restaurant but she ignores them. Naya wanted nothing to ruin her date with Grant tonight. “What do you recommend?” she asks him.
He walks to the table with her and pulls out her chair for her, always being a gentleman. He really couldn’t help it to be honest, it was just how he was raised. He was always polite to people, whenever he could be. He sat down in the chair opposite hers and pulled at his napkin, placing it on his lap. He looked around a little, his eyes flicking around. He noticed people looking, mostly at Naya, but he brushed it off and looked back at her, smiling a little.
"Well," He said, exhaling and opening his menu. He held it out in front of him, surveying. "The last time I was here, I came with my family a couple years ago. and I got the crab pasta alfredo. And that was delicious, and probably what I’ll get again." He said, smiling and putting down his menu.
A waitress came over to their table and introduced herself nicely as Leah, and then asked what they wanted to drink. He smiled and said “I’d just like a water, please.”
Naya could hardly contain her happiness. She loved every passing moment that she was with Grant. “Azure huh? I’m positive I’ve heard it somewhere, or I’m just being crazy.” she says with a laugh. They hold hands and walk down the streets of Hawaii, Naya grinning the whole time. “Has anyone told you how adorksable you are?” Naya asks Grant, turning to him with a smile. “I don’t know how you do it, is there like some secret class you go to? Are you just naturally like that?” She laughs at the ridiculousness of her question, “Never mind.. I’m just really happy right now.”
He smiled at her and turned his head, catching her eyes. “Adorksable?” He asked, laughing. “I don’t know if I’ve ever heard that word before. Actually, I’m pretty sure you just made that up.” He squeezed her hand a little and looked ahead of him. “And no, I don’t go to any classes. I promise. Wouldn’t be surprised if you did though. You’re pretty wonderful, you know that?” He asked, tilting his head slightly. He shuffled along with her, the air cool and the atmosphere nice.
"And I’m really happy as well. Just, being here." He mused, his voice light. "With you." He added, looking down in front of her before shooting another glance her way. "I really am."
It was nice, just walking with her. The scenery was beautiful and everything was relaxed. They were almost to the restaurant and he led her across a small street and to a small restaurant. He held open the door for her, it was always nice to be polite, right? He walked in after him and went to the hostess, smiling and saying “Reservation for ‘Gustin,’ please.”
Naya blushes at the way Grant looks at her. She never thought twice about it when other guys did it, but Grant wasn’t like other guys. She nods and closes the door, walking with him. Naya could feel the knot in her stomach unraveling as she spent more time with him. She was really looking forward to tonight.
They wait in the elevator and when they reach the lobby, she casually reaches for his hand and interlocks their fingers. They walk hand in hand outside, “So, where are you taking me?” Naya asks with a smile. She didn’t really care though, as long as she was by his side.
He smiles when she reaches for his hand and intertwines their fingers. He looks down ad their hands and looks at them for a second, smile growing a little. He looks up and continues to walk with her hand in hand. When they get outside he welcomes the cool air the sunset brought with it. He looked up at Naya when she asked where they were going.
"A place called ‘Azure’" He answered, looking back in front of him. "It’s a nice restaurant and it’s within walking distance." He squeezed her hand slightly and walked on a bath next to the street, taking in everything around him. The restaurant wasn’t that far away, but it would be a good ten-minute walk. He was very content being in Hawaii, going on his first date in a while, to be honest, with Naya. They continued walking, passing by people every now and then.
Naya franctically runs around, getting ready. She was so nervous, butterflies in her stomach and everything. It had been a long time since she had been on a real date. Sure, she had small ones just for fun, but this was real. Naya slips into one of her casual dresses, some flats, and puts her hair in a half up-do, skipping the makeup.
She hears a knock on her door and shouts, “Coming!” before quickly grabbing her clutch. Naya turns off the lights in her rooms and opens the door. She smiles at how handsome and adorable Grant looked. I mean seriously? How was she so lucky to get the full package: witty, smart, funny, charming, kind, dorky, adorable, and handsome. “Hey handsome.” she says with a wider smile.
He grinned back at her, sort of set back at how pretty she looked. He could tell she wasn’t wearing any make-up, which made him silently laugh to himself. She didn’t need make-up, she was naturally gorgeous.
"Hey." He said, leaning in and kissing her on the cheek. He leaned back and smiled at her again. "You look beautiful." He said, tilting his head a little. "Are you ready to go?" He asked, motioning behind him. He walked out into the hallway and waited for her to close her door before beginning to walk down to the hallway to the elevator. As he walked side by side with her, he slightly thought about how he was still kind of nervous, but less now. He was more happy to be with her.
They got to the elevator and he pressed the down arrow button and waited for the elevator. It dinged and opened, an he walked in, pressing the lobby button.
Grant looked in his mirror and let out a breath, playing with his hair. It was kind of still on his forehead but he really couldn’t help it at that point. He brushed his teeth quickly and smoothed out his button up shirt he had on, looking at himself again in the mirror. He decided he looked fine and gave himself a nod of approval. He was kind of nervous. He knew he shouldn’t be, but he couldn’t help it. He always got kind of nervous before he went on a date, he didn’t want to screw anything up.
He gave himself one last smile before he walked out of the bathroom, flicking the lights off behind him. He walked into his hotel room’s main room and looked around, thinking whether or not he had to bring anything. He turned off the TV he had been watching before and ran his hand through his hair out of habit one more time before grabbing his roomkey and walking out his door. He walked a little ways down the hallway before he got to Naya’s. He raised his hand and knocked on the door three times, smiling.
